In a study by Sung, et al. (2008), it was found that 73% of children with ADHD have difficulties sleeping. The study also found that children with sleep difficulties had a poorer quality of life, and they were more likely to miss school. Parents of children with sleep problems were more likely to be late to work. (I’m sure many of you who have tried to get a tired kid out the door in the morning can relate.)
