This is one of the pieces of art you see when you walk through Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport (ATL) instead of taking the tram. As you can see from the picture, there are sculptures one after the other down the entire walkway.

The airport itself has quite a bit of artwork and historical exhibits. One of the best is an exhibit on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The exhibit has belongings of his (including his Bible and his suit) and has a narrative of his life.

One section of the airport walkway has beautiful photos of galaxies. Quite breathtaking.

So not only do you get some extra exercise when you skip the tram, you also get to see some artistic and historical treasures.
