Yet another case of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) linked to an athlete's suicide. CTE leaves a buildup of tau proteins in the brain, and can cause depression, mood swings, flattened affect, and memory loss. It is caused by head trauma, especially repeated head trauma.
